Others have called it Power Pop Plus! To me, they're just songs. I love interesting themes & melodies, along with lyrics that tell good stories. I also like altering conventional sounding instruments to create something that sounds completely different; like playing a guitar line and then doubling that line note for note with a melodica, or even a kazoo!
